Room 28's First Live Show!!

La Pregunta Arts Cafe, the new cultural hot spot of the upper west side (Washington Heights ;o) ), was host to a comedy night on March 13th. Hosted by Elmo DiFoca and JFernz with a performance by comedian Ruperto Vanderpool, the show opened up to a full house. When it was over there were bellyaches and fogged windows. Much love to Yscaira, who runs the cafe, and Ruperto who closed the show lovely! Next show will be April 10th, mark your calendars now!!!!

Here's a video from salsamerengue.com (thanks Cucho!). The lighting was low so enjoy the nightvision (minus sex tape action...unless you consider what they do on stage... nevermind!). This was the guys first time co-hosting together, unrehearsed for the most part. Watch ;o)

Room 28 & MiGente.com Join Forces!

On February 18th, MiGente.com and Room 28 began a cross promotion platform for the Sucker 4 Love skit penned by Ay Dios Mio. While Sucker 4 Love will air as a Room 28 sketch, its "doctors", Dr. Phil Ashio (Ay Dios Mio) and Dr. Dumowski (JFernz) will host an interactive show on MG where they will answer member's questions posted to their page http://www.blogger.com/www.migente.com/Sucker_4_Love.
